1. Is it designed for mass-flow discharge?
Silbloxx silos are designed for mass-flow discharge.
Silbloxx evan has patented technology for round butterfly hoppers where the transition from straight wall to the spout ensures a mass flow. Such a butterfly hopper combines the best of two worlds. Not only is the space optimally used, as is the case with a square hopper. But it also allows for the perfect flow that is typical of a round hopper.
2. What is the material of construction for the silo? And do you really need them?
All our systems are re-usable, recyclable and circular made in high quality carbon or stainless steel. This way we surely focus on sustainability.
As a matter of fact, Silbloxx silos grow along with the increasing storage needs of your company. By expanding your actual installation, you can easily re-use the old silos. Moreover, our silos are easy to assemble and disassemble. This way you can move and re-use them whenever or wherever you like.
3. Have you accounted for material pressures?
Silbloxx delivers pre-engineered silos according the EN norms and standards, in which this kind of loads/pressures are foreseen.
4. What are your safety considerations?
Silbloxx silos are European made of the highest quality. During the entire supply chain, we never lose our focus on quality. Our EN1090-2 certificate and ISO3834 certificate confirm this. We always aim for an optimal result whereby our customer is 100% satisfied with a CE documentation.
5. Have you factored in the weather?
We have 2 standard silo systems being corrugated and smooth wall. The corrugated can be used outside, the smooth wall is in fact designed to be used inside.
However wind & earthquake forces can be taken into account with custom-made silos by our sister company SCE.
6. Tall and thin or short and fat?
Our Silbloxx silos are standard products but nevertheless they offer millions of possibilities. Thanks to those standardized systems and a useful 3D configurator with which one can generate drawings as well, we try to stay one step ahead. By means of our ingenious offer we are able to operate with millimeter precision.
7. Have you considered the effects of upstream and downstream equipment and other loads?
Our pre-engineered standard system is engineered with standard loads of equipment.
However other loads can be taken into account with custom-made silos by our sister company SCE.
